Give him a little puree

If you have been advised to give him a little puree or to introduce solids before 6 months. Don’t.

Simply put, don’t substitute an inferior food for a superior one. Baby food, no matter what the label claims, is less nutritious than breast milk

World Health Organisation, UNICEF and American Academy of Pediatrics among many other health organisation recommends that all babies be exclusively breastfed (no cereal, juice or any other foods) for the first 6 months of life (not the first 4-6 months).

Breast milk is the only nutrition that is uniquely rich with ;

  • brain and body building protein components
  • growth factor is rich in oligosaccharides, which promote intestinal health
  • living white blood cells, millions per feedingRich in immunoglobulins
  • digestive enzymes, such as lipase and amylase
  • many hormones: thyroid, prolactin, oxytocin, and more than fifteen others

and automatically adjusts to infant’s needs; levels decline as baby gets older.

How can filling your baby’s tummy with banana puree could beat that?
